The feds suing Arizona to throw out its new immigration law is beyond stupid.

To the best of my understanding, the Arizona legislation mirrors federal laws. Laws the feds refuse to enforce. Talk to any stranger on the street and you'll find they too are angry that our government turns a blind eye to the illegals.

Go to any country outside the United States and you damned well better be carrying your passport and visa with you at all times.

I personally believe that if illegal aliens were given an opportunity to become legal citizens or obtain legal work visas 99.9% would pass up the opportunity. Being illegal has too many benefits. Free medical care. Free education for your kids. No federal taxes. What a great deal.

I have considered renouncing my U.S. citizenship, moving to Mexico and coming back here illegally. That way I would not have to worry about paying taxes and getting my medical needs met.

I am sick and tired of my tax money going to pay for the health and eductational serves given to illegals.

School is NOT free, and citizens are not compelled to send there kids to school. Do you have children? OUR taxes pay for public education. Even if your kid goes to private school or is home schooled, you pay for the education of all children who are in public schools. Visit a public school that offers ESL and Bi-Lingual classes and notice that these classes are smaller than the English speaking classes. This is so the children whose parents refuse to teach them English get more attention and instruction in learning English. These teachers paid more and they are given highly paid aides.

Health care? I have worked all my life and I cannot afford to pay my medical bills, purchase the medications I need and get the medical tests I need. And I HAVE medical insurance. Ya want to send me some money?

I am not "trained" or conditioned to believe anything. I do my research and make up my own mind. If I was conditioned by my environment I would be cheat, lie and step on anyone who got in my way, just like most Americans.

I am NOT against legal immigration. I am against people living off other people.

I don't think you realize how many items you own that were made with slave labor and then imported to the United States.

I concede, education IS legally compulsory at least in Texas from age 6 to 18. Assume it is the same in other states. BUT just because it is law, seeing that this is the U.S., parents are NOT compelled to send their kiddos to school. There are systems in place to enforce the law, but just like most laws, little to nothing is done when laws are broken.

The people I know who home school do not give their kids standardized tests or spend much of any time educating their children, but then, I only know a hand full of home schoolers.

After my first husband died I moved to a neighborhood where education was stressed. The neighborhood I left was filled with kiddos who dropped out of elementary and middle school. Never once saw the long arms of the law drag those kids back to school. This is America. Most do not give a shit.

Using your logic your home should be open to those with no roof over their head, your fridge should be open to the hungry, and your wife...

Just curious? Who pays for it and how? How do you compensate or reward someone for committing 10+ years of their life to gaining a medical degree? How do they repay the student loans? And where do you call it quits? Elective surgery? Breast implants are a necessity for some women.

All education is free because knowledge is free. It is accreditation that costs.

What you pay for is accreditation: the ability to say that your education meets certain standards based upon your chosen field.

You can, in fact, get a doctorate or masters degree simply by proving life experience sufficient to equate to such education. It's called an "honoris causa" degree. Rarely, however, will institutions risk their reputations and grant such a request without some form of unarguable, empirical fact. Generally this is a contribution to the increase of the field of human knowledge within the discipline of the individual.
