pre-9/11 phone call

A letter has been sent by leaders of the House Judiciary Committee to Attorney General Michael Mukasey, demanding that he explain a recent public statement that federal authorities failed to intercept a call from suspected terrorists in Afghanistan prior to the 9/11 attacks, when doing so could have prevented the attacks from taking place.

Mukasey blamed that failure on a lack of the sort of warrantless wiretapping authority that the administration has now called on Congress to provide. However, there has never been any previous mention of such a call, and the Judiciary Committee letter -- signed by Chairman John Conyers and two subcommittee chairs -- points out that the law that existed at the time would have allowed the call to be intercepted immediately, with permission granted retroactively by the FISA court.

They recieved a phone call about the impending attack, and they wanna say they needed warrentless wiretapping ? did I miss something here? If they would have followed procedure the attacks never would have happened, so what is it incompetence or was it purposely allowed to happen in order to implement there agenda?

Bits and pieces of the Real story is starting to come out.

I just think they're incompetent boobs who would better be janitors or perhaps cafeteria workers. The big lie about WMD to get us into Iraq in this light is just a major SNAFU to cover up the fact they dropped the ball at a time when people were starting to ask uncomfortable questions.

They're all like a pack of little kids. Cover up a mistake with a big ass lie and hope they cancel each other out.

I still can't believe it was incompetence. Incompetence doesn't make the impossible possible, such as building 7 falling.

I'm sorry if any of you question that theory about building 7. It's denial, and it's okay to have, because the truth is disturbing in it's implications.

I haven't made my decision. I just call what I see, and the only thing that could convince me otherwise would be an exact duplication of a similar type of building falling due to that relatively small amount of damage.

We don't wanna not have this wonderful system we have anymore, now do we?

It frightens us so much, that we dare not speak it.

Let me clue you in on something, though. This was not incompetence. We're lead to believe it was incompetence, because our society has been led into incompetence... and we still think that society decides which direction it goes... and that's why we think we can explain these things away in the matter of fact way that we do.

Building 7 was purposely destroyed by something....be it DEW or controlled incendiary devices or whatever. Just LOOK at the video! It's like looking at an anthill with ants coming out and denying that it's an anthill. I wonder why I ever realized this. Was I manipulated into believing it? No, because all the truth movement did was remind me of suspicions I had the VERY DAY it happened. I was only 15 in 2001, and even a completely distracted 15 year old was able to go "whoa that building looks like somebody just took it down on purpose!".

Building 7. There's your evidence right there! It's ridiculous that people need any more evidence than that. It just shows me how bad the mental conditioning is. I'm sorry if this offends you non-believers. It's not a question of belief here. You either see it or you don't, like eyespy. I was never able to see eyespy, so to me, everyone as just bullshitting me when they said there was an image there, but there REALLY IS an image hidden behind the nonsense, apparently.

If those books had never said there was anything in those eyespy images, people who didn't see the sailboat would think that the people who did see it were liars or crazy people.

The more and more you look again and again at the footage of the buildings falling... the more and more fucked up it looks to you. I remember asking myself shortly after seeing the footage for the first time (I didn't get to see it til about 3:30 in the afternoon, because our school didn't let us watch the news that day....odd?) "Why didn't the building with the antenna topple more? It just disintegrated!"

No toppling over, just WHOOSH!!! Like God's finger coming down and smushing them.

I'll bet if they had showed us the footage live, kids would've been asking some very pertinent questions... and promptly sent to the office or given a detention.
